How we make money

AnnuitySelector is free for visitors. We earn compensation from partners featured on the site. We receive a fee when a visitor clicks a partner link, requests a quote, completes an application, or purchases an annuity product through a partner. The exact payment model varies by partner.

Because we are compensated, our comparison results are not independent, unbiased reviews. They are an advertising and matching service designed to help you find providers that work with your savings amount and state of residence.

How compensation affects results

The order in which providers appear, the scores we assign, and the products we highlight are influenced by the compensation we receive from partners. A provider that pays us more or has a stronger commercial relationship is shown more prominently than one that does not.

We do not compare every annuity provider in the market. Our results show up to three providers or resources from among the partners we work with. Other providers offer products that might better fit your needs but are not included in our comparison.

Not all providers are compared

The comparison chart you see after using our tool is based on the partners available in our network for your ZIP code and savings range. It is not a comprehensive survey of all annuity products, carriers, or rates available in the market. We encourage you to shop around and request quotes from multiple sources.

Including a provider on AnnuitySelector does not mean we endorse, recommend, or vouch for that provider. Any rating, score, or “best” label is a comparison of advertised features, not a personalized recommendation.
